וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ שֶׁ֔קֶר הַגֶּד־נָ֖א לָ֑נוּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר כָּזֹ֤את וְכָזֹאת֙ אָמַ֤ר אֵלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה מְשַׁחְתִּ֥יךָֽ לְמֶ֖לֶךְ אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Und sie sagten: 'Ist es falsch; Sag es uns jetzt.' Und er sagte: 'So und so sprach er zu mir und sprach: So spricht der HERR: Ich habe dich zum König über Israel gesalbt.'

They said, “That is a lie.” [What] you are saying; you are hiding what he said to you.6Yeihu wanted to conceal the prophecy and wait for a more opportune time to reveal it.
